The holiday magic is in the air and we are just busy as bees cooking up a storm for our furry friends.

It has been a while since we had time to add a personal note to the blog.

We’ve been busy (eating) cooking and shopping and cooking and (eating) shopping.

The holidays are upon us and so many of our wonderful clients are making sure their four-legged friends are well-fed for the season. We are so grateful to them for allowing us to provide their pets with such scrumptious treats.

Phew!

We’ve been busy bees and happy campers.

Marcia spent the entire weekend cooking up a batch of cookies…. well, actually, Sunday night was spent preparing the dough and baking. It took us about 4 days to gather all the ingredients. And early this morning, we baked and baked.

So far, we are getting good reviews on the Dog Treats we delivered.

Tonight, we are kicking back and watching the recent re-runs of The Wizard of Oz.

Hey, do you realize that the entire plot line of The Wizard of Oz is based on the fact that Dorothy would rather run away with her beloved dog Toto than risk losing him?

We totally get you Dorothy!

Ok ok OK!! We know. We’ve been using that word ‘love’ a lot lately, but we just cant help ourselves.

The world wide web is such a wonderful place for animal lovers to meet & greet! We told you last time about the new buddies we made at Funepets. And now we are just tickled beyond pink to make friends with another blog we just discovered: The Dog Log…. “oh, pitchu pitchu!” We LOVE it!

Why do we gush so? Well, just take a read of the blog’s welcome statement:

Welcome! My goal is to increase awareness of the alternatives to commercial dog food, inspired by the dramatic improvement in my dog Abby’s skin allergies after changing to an all natural and raw food diet. My earliest posts pertain to diet and skin allergies, but I’ll be broadening my topics to include everything canine. I welcome any questions and comments.

Clearly, these are people after our own hearts! We couldn’t agree more. Animal health and nutrition should not be left to feeding your pet commercially produced food alone. Sometimes it takes a little time and homemade food to ensure your pet’s nutrition. Pets fare better with organic, homemade food – this has been our experience and exactly why we started Pitchu Pitchu in Manhattan, NYC.

As much as we at Pitchu Pitchu love cooking up tasty and healthy dog treats and goodies, we love finding well-meaning resources for animals online.

Recently, we joined www.blogcatalog.com and we have been making a ton of friends. On a recent login, we came across the founders of Funepets and they told us about their new site geared at making an “entertainment hub targeted to meet the demands of pet owners by providing the ability to share photos and videos of their pets over the internet for others to view and enjoy.”

Well, we couldn’t agree more! We’ve noticed all the pet blogs and cute pet photos splashed across the Internet! Isn’t is great that now there is a place dedicated to collecting these We think so!

We’ve added Funepets to our blog roll and we hope to keep in touch with the founders as they grow! Good luck guys!
